Abstract

In the current paper we examine the “chase” between two test probes dropped radially and simultaneously from two different heights towards a charged, non-rotating black hole. We have developed a general methodology that uses the coordinate speed in order to derive the variation of coordinate time with the Schwarzschild radial coordinate. This allows us to determine how the time differential between the two falling test probes varies with respect to the Schwarzschild radial coordinate.
