We fabricated and designed high efficiency Solid State dye sensitized solar cell based on TiO2 nanoparticles as a base by using a mixture paste of LiI, PMII as a solid electrolyte MWCNTs prepared on FTO glass as a counter electrode to alternative the conventionally used expensive Pt electrode. The initial results showed the power conversion efficiency of 1.32% from the device. the structural properties of nanoanatase TiO2 films was prepared by doctor blade at the room temperature and MWCNTs as a counter electrode prepared by spray pyrolysis method at 300°C were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), Raman spectrum. The optical properties are also studied. Finally, the I-V characterization for the solar cells parameters measurements showed that the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 with MWCNTs which led to increases in efficiency of solid state dye sensitive solar cells.
