Abstract

This paper examines the mixed convection flow of viscous reactive fluid in a vertical parallel plate micro-channel. The perturbation technique is employed to drive the analytical solutions for velocity field, temperature field, skin friction and the rate of heat transfer. A graphical result showing the effect of various parameters involved in the problem including mixed convection parameter, reactant consumption parameter and pressure gradient on the velocity and temperature profiles as well as skin friction and Nusselt number are presented and discussed.
