Abstract

The work carried out about the presentation and commercialization of agricultural products today. An analysis of the Instrumentation and compliance of the Cuban Standards Norm NC and Ministry of Agriculture Norm NRAG, related to the links of the postharvest chain harvest, benefit, packaging, transportation, storage, presentation and Marketing of agricultural products. Three main units of Santa Clara city, Villa Clara province, were the main research sources. These were the UEB "Frutas Selectas", which is responsible for the marketing in freely convertible currency of agricultural products destined for the Internal market Hotels of international tourism, UEB " Acopio para la población " which collects and distributes agricultural products destined to the social consumption and agricultural markets, and the Commercialization Unit "Agrotur", belonging to the "Valle del Yabú" Agricultural Company. This investigation determined which of the three units complied partially with the Cuban Food Standards and which presented shortcomings that could be converted into future strengths.
