Abstract

The aim of this review paper is to enhance the knowledge about pharmacological properties and to raise awareness of the benefits of an edible Moringa plant, also known as a miracle tree. Moringa provides excellent support for the anti-inflammatory pathways in the body enriches anemic blood and strengthens the immune system. It also improves vision, mental alertness and bone power. This has potential benefits for obesity, general fatigue, mothers who lactate, menopause, depression and osteoporosis. The review fixates on the natural utilizations of the plant components which are benign to humanity in all aspects. Moringa leaves are rich in many essential nutrients, including calcium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, riboflavin and iron. Moringa oleifera has a variety of various antioxidants including quercetin and chlorogenic acid. Moringa leaf powder that increase antioxidant levels in your blood. Moringa leaves can result in lower levels of blood sugar, but more work is required before any firm recommendations can be made. Each part of the plant is believed to have a medicinal property. Sundry medicinal properties have been apperceived in its part including leaves, roots, seed, bark, fruits, and flowers. Studies have reported anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, antipyretic, antifungal, antibacterial properties.
